Mejiro Garden

A small pond garden offers a quieter break from Ikebukuro. Enjoy the water, pavilion and changing planting slowly; this is a short garden stop rather than a large park hike.

A simple way to visit

  1. Check the current closure notice before leaving.
  2. Take a slow pond-side circuit without blocking the path.
  3. Return through the neighborhood and take a seated break near the station.

Make the most of your visit

Keep voices low and leave narrow paths clear. Tea service and access to the tea room are not automatically included in a walk.

Rainy-day planning

Shorten the visit in rain; the pond paths are outdoors. Return to station-side cafes if conditions worsen.
