Jindaiji Temple and its approach

Temple grounds, small lanes and soba restaurants make an unhurried half-day. Focus on worship and a seated meal, leaving a botanical-garden visit for those with extra time.

A simple way to visit

  1. Save your return bus stop and check the temple notice.
  2. Visit respectfully before exploring the approach.
  3. Have soba and return with a buffer for the bus.

Make the most of your visit

Temple opening does not mean soba shops are serving early in the morning. Decide the meal time before choosing the bus.

Rainy-day planning

Keep the approach short and use a seated meal as the main break; allow for outdoor waits at bus stops.
