How to plan your meals

Treat cafe visits as breaks rather than meal substitutes. Check small-shop opening days and keep a backup lunch option.

For allergies or other dietary needs, confirm ingredients and preparation directly with the restaurant.

Choose a place to stay

Choose accommodation around the rail line serving your destination. Eastern Tokyo is broad, and nearby-looking places may require transfers.

Questions to settle before you go

Are Shibamata and Kasai Rinkai Park a single walking area?

Treat them as separate rail journeys. For a relaxed first visit choose one neighborhood and keep time for lunch.

Does park entry include the aquarium?

No. Kasai Rinkai Park and the aquarium have separate entry conditions, opening days and tickets.
